Superfeet Sandman Triathlon & Duathlon 2026
The Superfeet Sandman takes place on 27 Sep 2026 in Newborough Forest, next to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach. The event includes sea swims, mixed road and trail running, and a fast bike route through woodland and nearby roads. It uses chip timing with live online results.
Distances offered cover several formats and a duathlon option:
- Sprint triathlon: Swim 750m, Bike 22.8km, Run 5.7km.
- Standard triathlon: Swim 1500m, Bike 42.3km, Run 10.2km.
- Legend 70.3: Swim 1900m, Bike 93km, Run 20km.
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 1 2km, Bike 23km, Run 2 5.7km.
The event village provides music, commentary, shopping, food, and chill out zones. On-course support includes marshals, signage, and pick up vehicles. Family friendly finishes are part of the schedule, and locally made finisher mementos are provided.
The venue features sea, sand, pine forest and a mountain backdrop. The Sandman also serves as the grand finale of the Adventure Triathlon & Duathlon Series 2026.
