About the race
The Superfeet Sandman Triathlon & Duathlon takes place at Newborough Forest beside Traeth Llanddwyn Beach on 27 September 2026. The event includes a beach start with a sea swim and courses that combine road and trail running with a fast bike route. Multiple race formats are offered, including triathlon distances and a sprint duathlon. The event forms the finale of the Adventure Triathlon & Duathlon Series 2026. On site, an event village provides music, commentary, shopping, food stalls and chill out zones.
The organiser lists family friendly finishes, on course marshals, signage and pick up vehicles for support. Finishers receive locally made mementos. Timing is by chip with live online results. The setting features sea, sand and pine forest scenery with a mountain backdrop.

Race distances include: - Sprint: Swim 750m, Bike 22.8km, Run 5.7km. - Standard: Swim 1500m, Bike 42.3km, Run 10.2km. - Legend 70.3: Swim 1900m, Bike 93km, Run 20km. - Sprint Duathlon: Run 2km, Bike 23km, Run 5.7km.
