Superfeet Sandman Triathlon & Duathlon 2026
The Superfeet Sandman is a multi-distance triathlon and duathlon held at Newborough Forest beside Traeth Llanddwyn Beach on 27 Sep 2026. The event features a beach start with a sea swim, mixed road and trail running sections and a fast bike route through the local area. It is also the grand finale of the Adventure Triathlon & Duathlon Series 2026.
Available races and distances include:
- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 750m, Bike 22.8km, Run 5.7km
- Standard Triathlon: Swim 1500m, Bike 42.3km, Run 10.2km
- Legend 70.3 Triathlon: Swim 1900m, Bike 93km, Run 20km
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 1 2km, Bike 23km, Run 2 5.7km
The event village provides music, commentary, shopping, food and chill out zones and is presented with family friendly features including family finishes. On course support includes marshals, signage and pick up vehicles. Timing is chip based with live online results. Finishers receive locally made mementos. The route passes sea, sand and pine forest scenery with a mountain backdrop. Event services such as signage, registration and commentary are available in English and Welsh.
