Superfeet Sandman Triathlon & Duathlon 2026
The Superfeet Sandman Triathlon & Duathlon takes place at Newborough Forest beside Traeth Llanddwyn Beach on 27 Sep 2026. The event features a beach start with a sea swim, mixed road and trail running sections, and a primarily fast bike route.
Multiple race options are offered, each with measured swim, bike and run distances:
- Sprint triathlon: Swim 750 m, Bike 22.8 km, Run 5.7 km
- Standard triathlon: Swim 1500 m, Bike 42.3 km, Run 10.2 km
- Legend 70.3 triathlon: Swim 1900 m, Bike 93 km, Run 20 km
- Sprint duathlon: Run 1 2 km, Bike 23 km, Run 2 5.7 km
On-site features include a lively event village with music, commentary, shopping, food and chill-out areas, family-focused finishes, and professional chip timing with live online results. The course is supported by marshals, signage and pick-up vehicles. Finishers receive locally made mementos.
The setting combines sea, sand and pine forest with a mountain backdrop. Services at the event are bilingual in English and Welsh for signs, registration and commentary.
