Requirements and kit

Experience requirements: full entrants need three AL races or equivalent unmarked experience; half entrants need three AL/AM races or equivalent experience. The organiser lists a minimum kit set including fully taped waterproofs (top and bottom), two warm layers with long-sleeve base layer and full-length bottoms, hat and winter gloves, bivvy bag, map and compass, at least 0.5 litre water bottle, food and emergency food, torch, whistle and mobile phone.
