Event Details
The Super Hero Dash Half Marathon takes place on April 26, 2026. The event includes four distances: 5K, 10K, 10 Miler, and Half Marathon.
Location
The start location is Alamitos Beach, at 780 E Shoreline Dr. in Long Beach, California. Parking in the lot costs $2 per hour starting at 8:00 AM; street parking is free.
Course Information
The courses are out-and-back routes along a beach path that is open to other users. Runners are asked to stay on the right side of the path, which is designated for pedestrians.
- 5K & 10K: The 5K uses a single lap of the 5K route. The 10K consists of two laps of the same route.
- 10 Miler: The 10 Miler consists of two laps of a 5-mile route.
- Half Marathon: The Half Marathon combines two laps of the 5-mile route and one lap of the 5K route.
On-course support includes a water station. A finish line aid station provides water, electrolytes, gels, and fruit snacks. Course turns are marked with chalk, signs, and flags.
Additional Information
A gear check service is available at the registration tent; participants must bring their own bag. All finishers receive a race medal, with additional awards for the overall first-place male and female in each distance. Race results and free photos are sent via email after the event.
