The event offers several participation methods aimed at different interests and ages:

- Beach Cleanup - A dedicated cleanup session with State Beach staff.
Registered runners in the 5K and 10K categories receive a commemorative medal and a limited-edition race shirt featuring local bird artwork. The races are professionally chip-timed with results synced to Athlinks, and awards are provided for overall and age group winners.
The venue at Lot 25 includes a finish line festival featuring music, local vendors, and product samples. An interactive expo allows visitors to learn about wetland biodiversity through wildlife exhibits and microscopes. Facilities on-site include a gear check and a bike valet.
