Course and logistics

The course is described as flat, fast, and paved along Bolsa Chica State Beach. The event location and start area are in Lot 25 at Bolsa Chica State Beach; attendees are directed to enter through the main kiosk on Pacific Coast Highway for free beach parking and to proceed to the end where Lot 25 is located. If Lot 25 is full, parking is available in Lot 24 or Lot 23. Event services include commemorative medals and race shirts for certain events, chip timing, overall and age-group awards, free race-day photos, a finish-line festival with vendors, bike valet, gear check, and an expo with educational displays about the wetlands and local wildlife.
