About the Event
The 11th annual SUP & RUN 5K is a multisport event held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. The event offers athletes a choice of three main race formats: a standalone 5K run or walk, a standalone 5K stand-up paddleboard (SUP) event, or a combination of both a 5K run and a 5K SUP. The combination event involves running the 5K first, followed by paddling a 5K around Benderson Lake.
Participants in the SUP portion must know how to swim. The event also includes a free Handcycle and Wheelchair Division and a Virtual 5K option.
