The SUNY Old Westbury 5K Run/Walk and Dash takes place on September 26, 2026 at SUNY Old Westbury, 223 Store Hill Road, Old Westbury, NY. The event includes timed and untimed options and occurs on the campus grounds.

Participants who register for the 5K run/walk or the two mile walk receive a T shirt. Personalized bibs are available for registrants who register three weeks before the event. Registration fees include processing and may increase on specified dates; prices increase on September 5 and again on race day.
Amenities include live online text and email results, free finish line photos, music, food, and tabling from campus clubs and departments. The 5K course begins and ends at the Campus Center lot, follows Ring Road, passes the Woodlands dorms and the HorseAbility campus, goes through the Clark Center parking lot, and returns to the Campus Center. The 100 meter dash is held in the Campus Center traffic circle.
Awards for the 5K include top three male and female overall finishers, age group awards by standard age brackets, and top Old Westbury student, staff or alumni recognitions. Parking is available in the Campus Center lot via the main entrance from Route 106 107. Bib pickup is available on specified days before the event and on race day at the Campus Center parking lot.
