Sunset Run Nissequogue River State Park Run/Walk 2027
Sunset Run for the Park is a run and walk event at Nissequogue River State Park. The event includes a separate children s distance and a main 5K distance and is presented as a benefit for the Nissequogue River State Park Foundation.

Registration is not yet open. Pre registered participants receive a complimentary gift and a t shirt while supplies last on the day of the event.
Amenities listed for the event include free food and beverages, complimentary beer for participants 21 and older, entertainment for all ages including a DJ, and a scenic course.
Cash awards are offered for top overall finishers and masters, and age group awards are presented in five year increments from 14 and under through 80 and over. Prize amounts for overall places and masters are listed by the organizer.
The Nissequogue River State Park Foundation is the event beneficiary. It is a not for profit organization that works with the New York State Office of State Parks, Recreation and Historical Preservation and government representatives to enhance and protect the park s historical and environmental assets for present and future generations.
