SUNSET 6K FOR ALL
This community 6 km run or walk is organized by Arboretum Hill Club in collaboration with Bushtukah and Ottawa Free Fitness on Monday, October 12, 2026, at the Dominion Arboretum hill summit. The event marks the final sunset 6k of Arboretum Hill Club's eighth season.
The activity is free and open to all ages, all fitness levels, and all run clubs; newcomers are welcome. The route starts and ends at the hill summit and passes viewpoints that include the Rideau Canal, Hog's Back Falls and the Rideau River. Post-run fuel and hydration will be provided at a location to be announced. Free parking is available on site and at the Experimental Farm and Fletcher Wildlife Garden.
Registration and participation indicate acceptance of a waiver that releases the organizers from liability for ordinary negligence. The waiver states that physical exercise involves risks, that participation is voluntary, and that each participant assumes responsibility for their own safety and any bodily injury.
