Sunrise Florida Half Marathon & 5K : Markham Park, Sunrise, FL

The event is the 10th annual Sunrise Florida Half Marathon and 5K held at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. Distances offered include:

Race weekend includes packet pickup options: early packet pickup on Friday, March 19 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Runner's Depot Davie, and race day packet pickup at the event. Parking is available at Markham Park and restrooms are available throughout the park.

Participants receive event apparel and a finisher medal. Apparel options include technical t-shirts and cotton tank tops; sizes and styles are not guaranteed. Large colorful finisher medals are distributed and on-site medal engraving is available. Awards are presented to the top five finishers in each age group; age groups range from 1-10 through 75+. Live results and splits are provided so eligible runners can collect awards shortly after finishing.

Aid stations offering water and Gatorade are positioned approximately every two miles. The course has a 3.5 hour time limit; walkers are allowed if they can finish within the posted limit. An athlete guide is released the week of the race with detailed race day information. The event offers live tracking, interactive course maps, course flyovers, race photos and videos, and post-race food and refreshments.
