Sunrise Florida Half Marathon and 5K, Markham Park, Sunrise FL
The Sunrise event offers two distances hosted at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida on March 20, 2027. The course runs through park trails, lakes, and varied habitats and includes a mix of gentle hills and flat sections. Water and sports drink are available about every two miles or less. The event has a 3.5 hour time limit for the half marathon.
Included with entry are technical shirts and cotton tanks, and finishers may choose a medal or a finisher mug. Personalized engraving on the back of the medal is available for a fee of $10. Packet pick up is available early at Runner's Depot in Davie and on race day at the park. There is ample complimentary parking at Markham Park.
Awards are presented to the top five finishers in each age group, with age divisions spanning from 1-10 through 75 and older. Course maps are provided for both distances and live timing allows award presentation shortly after finish results are posted.
The event organizer reports annual donations to local school groups. Race entry prices start at $49 for the 5K and $115 for the half marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
