Sunrise Florida Half Marathon & 5K
The Sunrise Florida event on March 20, 2027 takes place at Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. It offers two race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
Packet pickup is available early on Friday, March 19 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Runner's Depot Davie. Race day packet pickup is available at the event from 5:45 AM to 6:15 AM. An athlete guide is released the week of the race with schedule, parking, course, and event rules.
The course provides water and Gatorade approximately every two miles and has a 3.5 hour time limit. Walkers may participate as long as they finish within the posted limit. An interactive course map and live tracking are provided through the Elite Events Tracker app, which also offers splits and real-time results.
Participants receive finisher medals with onsite engraving, technical shirts or cotton tanks, and post-race food. Awards are presented to the top five finishers in each age group, with age groups starting at 1-10 and extending to 75 and older. Parking and restrooms are available at Markham Park.
Event media includes free finisher photos, race videos, and professional announcers. The organizer reports annual donations of thousands of dollars to local school groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
