Sundowner 5K Series
The Sundowner 5K Series is a summer evening running series held across three Edinburgh parks: Leith Links, Fettes and Inverleith Park. Each event follows inner trail paths and uses clearly marked courses with marshals positioned around the route. The series is supported by FNZ.
Entries can be purchased per race or as a three-event package, with a maximum of 250 entries per event. Races are chip timed and include race photography. An optional finisher medal is available for an additional fee. Prizes include fastest male and female at each event, spot prizes, and a special prize for the most improved runner across the series.
Registration opens on the event day from 5.30pm and there are limited on-the-day places subject to availability. Warm-up sessions are provided by Westwoods Health Club. The format is intended as a recurring summer 5K series where participants may enter one event or all three and compare performances across the evenings.
