Breaking The Laws - 30K
Breaking The Laws is a 30K running event in North Berwick that honours the Scottish Commandos and raises funds for Scottish Veterans Residences. The event offers both solo entries and relay teams of three, plus a separate 10K circular walk around North Berwick and Balgone.
The route starts and finishes in North Berwick and is divided into three relay-friendly legs. It includes a climb of North Berwick Law, a section along the John Muir Way to East Linton, an ascent of Traprain Law via the River Tyne with a return to East Linton, and a final leg back to North Berwick that contains no major hills. The full route has 640 metres of ascent and uses roads, trails, and hill sections. The course is fully marshalled throughout.
