Breaking The Laws 30K
Breaking The Laws 30K is a running event in North Berwick on 13 September 2026 that honours the Scottish Commandos and raises funds for Scottish Veterans Residences. The event offers solo and team relay options plus a separate 10K circular walk around North Berwick and Balgone.

The main route starts and finishes in North Berwick and is split into three relay friendly legs. Leg one follows the John Muir Way to East Linton, leg two climbs Traprain Law via the River Tyne and returns to East Linton, and the final leg returns to North Berwick and includes North Berwick Law. The 30K route includes roads, trails and hill sections, with a total ascent of 640 metres. The course is fully marshalled throughout.
Entry options and listed prices are 30K Solo Entry at £30, 30K Relay Team Entry at £45, and 10K Walk Entry at £10. Entries include chip timing, a finisher medal, an event t shirt, hydration stations, a relay changeover area, first aid cover and free car parking. An optional donation to Scottish Veterans Residences is available and Blast Running Ltd has pledged to donate £5 from every runner or team entry. Scottish Veterans Residences provides supported housing across Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow for former members of the UK Armed Forces.
