Sunburn Striders 5k & 10k
The Sunburn Striders 5k & 10k takes place at the Greensprings Interpretive Trail on John Tyler Highway in Williamsburg, Virginia. The event offers participants the opportunity to run through a natural landscape located within a forest setting.
The course follows a trail that loops through various ecological environments, including beaver ponds, wetlands, and wooded areas. The path features several sections of wooden boardwalk. Along the route, participants can find interpretive signs that provide information regarding the local environment, wildlife, and the history of early colonists and American Indians in the region.
Participants can choose from several distance options:
- 10 km
- 5 km
- Virtual (multiple options including medal and shirt)
