Event overview
Summit 50/50 is a trail running event in the Red House area of Allegany State Park near Salamanca, New York. The event offers three distances on a course made up of groomed trail, single track, and rolling hills. The start and finish are at the Art Roscoe warming hut in the Summit trail system. The park is part of a large natural area that connects to Allegheny National Forest.

- 25 km - ~16.1 miles; elevation change ~2,244 ft; cutoff 6 hours
- 50 km - ~32.2 miles; elevation change ~4,537 ft; cutoff about 9 hours
- 50 mile - ~50.2 miles; elevation change ~6,873 ft; overall cutoff 14 hours; intermediate soft cutoffs apply
The course is made of roughly 16-mile loops, which can make official distances slightly longer. Runners will pass two staffed aid stations. Aid station items include water, Skratch, ice (if needed), orange slices, bananas, pickles, PB&J, chips, pretzels, Oreos, and candy. A limited selection of hot food will be available for 50 mile runners after mile 34.
All entrants receive a pair of SCTR socks. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in each gender division. The race is USATF sanctioned and insured, Trail Sisters approved, and listed on the UTMB index. Registration closes on Wed, Oct 22 at 11:59 PM ET.
