2026 VFAC Summerfast 10K

The Summerfast 10K event is a 10 km race taking place on July 4, 2026 at Second Beach in Vancouver, British Columbia. The course is described as scenic, flat, and fast, running along the Stanley Park Seawall.

The start is located near the Second Beach concession stand. The route passes south of Lost Lagoon, does a short loop in Coal Harbour, then follows the Seawall towards Lions Gate Bridge in a counter-clockwise direction. The finish line is back at Ceperley Field, near the start. A course map is available.

Registration is capped at 850 participants. Variable registration fees apply based on timing. Race package pick-up is available on July 2nd and 3rd at Forerunners Main St., or on race morning at the finish area. Registration is non-refundable, but transfers are permitted until online registration closes, subject to a fee.

The event supports a fundraising organization, the McCreary Centre Society. It also features a team challenge sponsored by Freehouse Collective, with points awarded for the number of team members finishing and for the age-graded performances of each team's top six runners.
