The Summer Sweat 5K & 10K Race takes place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Waynesboro, Virginia. The event is held at 500 Northgate Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980. The race includes two distance options and runs through neighborhoods of the city. Participants are eligible by age from 6 to 99.

Entry and race features
Both the 5K and 10K have an entry price of $40. The price increases after February 28, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. The registration fields shown list available spots (approximately 600 for the 10K and 599 for the 5K). Participants receive a race day t-shirt. The course will have fully stocked aid stations. A post-race awards ceremony will take place and food and drink will be provided. A portion of each race fee will be donated to the local Relay for Life chapter.
The Summer Sweat 5K is the third race in the Run the Valley four-race series, which also includes the Mad Anthony Mud Run (February), Park to Park 1/2 Marathon (April), and Fall Foliage 10K (October).
