Summer Sweat 5K and 10K
The Summer Sweat 5K and 10K is a community road race held in Waynesboro, Virginia on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The event is based at Ridgeview Park near The Serenity Garden and offers two distance options.

The course runs through residential neighborhoods of Waynesboro. Participants receive a race day t-shirt. The event provides fully stocked aid stations along the course, a post-race party with food and drink, and an awards ceremony for finishers.
Part of the race proceeds will support Relay for Life. Contributions to that effort help fund cancer research programs and local mission services, including transportation to treatment, free wigs and scarves, access to information about diagnosis and treatment, and lodging assistance during cancer treatment.
