Summer Sizzler Memphis
The Summer Sizzler Memphis takes place on August 23, 2026, at Greenbelt Park Boat Ramp in Memphis, Tennessee. The event offers multiple participation options including a virtual event and in-person distances.
The in-person event group includes:
- Virtual Race
- 5K MEM
- 10K MEM
- 1-Mile
- 15K MEM
- Kids Dash
- Volunteer then Run
The 5K, 10K, and 15K are chip-timed with live results and awards. Age group awards for those timed distances include male and female overall, masters 40 and older, and top three male and female in age bands from 10 and under up to 80 plus. The 1-Mile, Kids Dash, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for those age group awards.
Packet contents vary by event. 5K/10K/15K registration includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The 1-Mile includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The Kids Dash is for ages 10 and under and includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a child-specific medal; children may run the Kids Dash without accepting swag. Virtual registrations receive a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and mailed packet which ships the Wednesday after the race.
On-site features listed by the organizer include free photos, refreshments at the finish, a Kona Ice truck, and a Beach Party Challenge in which participants collect and finish with items from water stations to earn a special challenge pin.
