Summer Sensation 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon - Long Beach
This event offers multiple running and walking distances along the Long Beach ocean path in Belmont Shores. The venue is listed as 5400 E Ocean Blvd at the start of the beach path near 54th Place in Long Beach, CA.
Participants receive a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and free videos. Results with names and times are posted online within 12 to 24 hours after the event. An assortment of snacks and samples will be available. Numerous restrooms and water fountains are located along the course. Running or walking with a stroller is allowed.
Distances offered:
- 5k out-and-back route.
- 10k two 5k loops.
- 15k three 5k loops.
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops.
All finishers receive a medal and posted results. There is a 3 hour 15 minute time limit for the half marathon; participants who need more time can arrange an early start with the organizer. Group discounts are available for five or more people. The organizer is ABWR and the event is presented as a relaxed, personal racing experience with posted official times after the event.
