Summer Sensation 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Long Beach
The Summer Sensation race day takes place on August 15, 2026, along the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA. The course is an open beach-path route; participants should be courteous to pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
The route uses marked out and back loops and includes an aid station at the turnaround near the start and finish offering water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and gel packets.
Distances:
- 5 km out and back on the beach path
- 10 km two 5 km loops
- 15 km three 5 km loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free videos, live results, free photos tied to bibs, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, and access to the organizer's app for tracking races, photos, and videos. Assorted snacks and samples are provided on site.
The organizer notes a NO refund policy and allows transfers only by formal request. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; an early start may be available by request. Group discounts are available with automatic application for groups of three or more on the registration platform. Volunteer positions can be exchanged for a free future entry.
