Summer Sensation Half Marathon - Long Beach
The event is a multi-distance running and walking event held in Belmont Shores, Long Beach, California, at 5400 E Ocean Blvd. It takes place on August 15, 2026 and uses the Long Beach beach path near 54th Place and Ocean Boulevard.
Distances include:
- 5k out-and-back route
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and free videos. Official results with names and times are posted on the organizer website, typically within 12 to 24 hours after the event. Snacks and samples are provided along with restroom access and water fountains on the course.
The organizer allows running and walking with strollers. A 3 hour 15 minute time limit applies to the half marathon; early starts may be arranged by contacting the organizer. Pacers and crew are permitted. The organizer advises carpooling and arriving early to find parking and restroom facilities, and notes that beach restrooms may not always be fully stocked early in the morning.
