Summer Sasquatch : June 6-7, 2026
Summer Sasquatch takes place on Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7, 2026, at Salt Fork Lodge in Kimbolton, Ohio. The event offers multiple trail distances:
- 50K
- 20 Mile
- 10 Mile - Saturday
- 10 Mile - Sunday

Course and format
The race uses a 10.4-mile loop on hiking and bridle trails around Salt Fork Lake. The 50K is run as three loops and lists over 4,000 feet of elevation gain. The 20-mile event is two loops. The 10-mile event is a single loop; a Saturday and a Sunday 10-mile are offered. The course description notes muddy sections and that the trail can be hard on shoes. Hikers are allowed to participate. Participants who enter both the Saturday and Sunday 10-mile events receive a 50% discount on the Sunday 10-mile.
Awards, swag and support
Swag options include a triblend tee and a finisher medal. Awards are given for Top 3 Overall male and female and Top 3 in five-year age groups from 24 & Under through 70 & Over. Donations from the event benefit Guernsey County Sheriff’s Mounted Search and Rescue. The race is part of the Ohio Endurance Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
