Bigfoot is a trail running event held at Salt Fork State Park in Kimbolton, Ohio. The race features a 10.4 mile loop course characterized by rolling hills on hiking and bridle trails. The route is marked with pink blazes and permanent wooden signs. Participants in the longest distance complete three full loops, accumulating over 4,000 feet of elevation gain.

The event offers several distance options over a two-day period:

  • 50K

  • 10 Mile

The 50K, 20 Mile, and a 10 Mile race take place on Saturday, while an additional 10 Mile event is held on Sunday. Hikers are welcome to participate in the 20 Mile and Saturday 10 Mile distances. Those seeking an additional challenge may participate on both days.

The event provides various amenities for participants, including finisher medals and the choice between a triblend tee or a hoodie. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three finishers in five-year age categories. The race is part of the Ohio Endurance Series, and donations from the event benefit the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Mounted Search and Rescue.
