Firm Foundation 5K
The Firm Foundation 5K is a chip-timed running event held on June 5, 2027, in Copperas Cove, Texas. The course begins and ends at South Park, located at 2602 Dennis Street, and follows the park walking trail with a sequence of turns through nearby streets and a loop before returning to the park trail and bridge toward the finish.
The published route includes travel along the walking trail, the south park pool parking area, and a series of street turns: Dennis, Miranda, Henry, Hughes, Wanda, Connie, Wayne, Boland, and Mattie, before returning to Dennis and reentering the park. The course finishes by following the walking trail to the loop, backtracking to the bridge, crossing the bridge, and continuing on the trail to the finish line.
Registration details state an entry fee of $25.00. Participants must select a shirt size when registering; shirts are available by pre-order for an additional $10.00. Registration opens June 24, 2026, and closes June 5, 2027.
