Killeen Half MaraFUN
The Killeen Half MaraFUN is a distance running event organized by Killeen Parks and Recreation. It serves as the only half marathon included in the 2026 Centex Race Series. The event takes place on the Heritage Oaks Hike & Bike Trail in Killeen, Texas.
Participants can compete in the following distance:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The race has a strict four-hour time limit for all participants. The course utilizes the local trail system, starting near Pyrite Drive. For those who register early, T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 runners.
All participants receive awards for their completion of the course. In addition to general participation awards, the event organizers provide first, second, and third-place medals for male and female runners in various age groups, as well as for the overall male and female winners. All runners also earn points toward the Centex Race Series standings.
Packet pick-up is available in the days leading up to the race at the Family Recreation Center on E. Stan Schlueter Loop. Registration options are available online until a few days before the event, with an additional registration window provided on-site on the morning of the race.
