Summer Georgetown 5k, 10k, & Half
Summer Georgetown 5k, 10k, & Half is a running event held on July 26, 2026, in Georgetown, Washington, DC. The event takes place at 4940 Canal Rd NW and uses the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path for its courses.
The event includes multiple in-person distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The Half Marathon begins and ends near the Potomac Boat Club. The 5K and 10K begin and end at Fletcher's Boat House. The course follows the Canal path through the Georgetown area, providing a route alongside the Potomac River corridor.
Both in-person and virtual registration options are offered. Virtual entries are available with different finishing award and apparel options, including choices with or without a medal and with or without a shirt. Registration uses tiered pricing periods for each distance and for virtual categories.
