Sugg Farm Ultra

Event
The Sugg Farm Ultra takes place on September 12, 2026, at Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park, Grigsby Ave, Holly Springs, NC. It is the fourth annual running of this trail ultramarathon. Distances offered:
- 20-mile - 4 out-and-backs
- 40-mile - 8 out-and-backs
- 50-mile - 10 out-and-backs
There is also a pacer option.
Course
The course is a 5-mile out-and-back loop on a mix of mulch, gravel, and singletrack trails with a few hills. The route uses two separate aid stations. The course is not USATF certified, and distances may register slightly longer than advertised on most watches.
Registration and entry
Registration opens on December 16, 2025, and closes on September 5, 2026. There are limited spots for each distance and the event has sold out in prior years. The organizer’s policy states no refunds, no bib transfers, and no deferments.
Aid stations, pacers, and race items
Aid stations will offer water, Tailwind, soda, fruit, snacks, and some hot and prepared items. The event is cupless; runners must bring their own cup or personal hydration system. One pacer is allowed on the final lap; pacers must register, complete a waiver, and check in at the Admin Tent. Event T-shirts and stickers are included with registration; all finishers receive a medal and top three male and female finishers in each distance receive awards.
