The Sugg Farm Ultra takes place on September 12, 2026, at Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park in Holly Springs, NC. The event offers the following distances:
- 20 mile
- 40 mile

Course and race format
The course is a 5-mile out-and-back loop on a mix of mulch, gravel, and singletrack trails with some hills. Runners repeat the loop: 20-mile runners complete 4 out-and-backs, 40-mile runners complete 8, and 50-mile runners complete 10. There are two separate aid stations on the course: one at the start/finish and one at the 2.5 mile turnaround. The event is cupless; participants must bring a handheld, portable cup, or a hydration vest or belt.
Registration, rules, and awards
Registration opens on December 16, 2025 and closes on September 5, 2026. There are limited spots for each distance and the event has sold out in prior years. The organizer does not offer refunds, bib transfers, or deferments. Pacers are allowed for all distances on the final lap; pacers must register and complete a waiver before registration closes and check in at the admin tent on race day. Registration includes a 2026 event T-shirt and stickers. All finishers receive a medal. Special awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance.
