Sugarloaf Country Club Charity Turkey Trot 5K
The event takes place on Thanksgiving morning at the Sugarloaf Country Club Clubhouse parking lot in Duluth, Georgia. It is organized as a 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for Gwinnett County charities: Special Needs School of Gwinnett, Duluth Co-Op, Home for Hope, and the Dewey Crim Equipment Grant through US Kids Golf.
Registration opens on August 3 and closes on November 18. The standard registration fee is $40.00; children ages 9 and under may participate for $25 and should select the Special Pricing option during online registration. All registrations must be completed online and paid by credit card. Participants who register by November 12 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
Race packets, including t-shirts and race numbers, may be picked up at the Sugarloaf Country Club Clubhouse on Wednesday, November 25, with curbside pickup available. Packets may also be picked up on the morning of the event beginning at 8:00 a.m. The published course route has been reversed so participants will begin at the finish line and proceed to the starting line.
