Run Like Water 5K
The Run Like Water 5K takes place on November 14, 2026 at The Water Tower campus in Buford, Georgia. This is the third annual H2GO 5k. Check in and parking are at The Water Tower, located at 2500 Clean Water Court; the main entrance is at Plunketts and Woodward Mill and the back entrance on One Water Way will be blocked for the race course.
The route begins and concludes on The Water Tower Global Innovation Center campus and passes through the adjacent F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center (WRC). The WRC is an advanced wastewater treatment facility where participants will see wastewater treatment processes, nutrient recovery, and energy recovery on the route. The facility produces high quality effluent and is presented as a model for wastewater treatment practices.
The event is an official qualifier for the Atlanta Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race. Proceeds support The Water Tower Institute, a 501c3 organization, funding water programming such as STEM workshops for high school students and workforce training for prospective water or wastewater operators.
Entry fees are tiered: Early Bird before September 15, 2026 is $30.00, Advance before November 11, 2026 is $35.00, and Day of after November 11, 2026 is $50.00.
