Event Overview
The Run for Mental Health takes place along the South Peachtree Creek Trail in Decatur, Georgia. This event is designed as a small, private group run with a capped number of participants per wave to maintain a low-stress environment. It is open to participants of all ages and paces, including runners and walkers. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian.
The event features several distance options to accommodate different fitness levels:
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 13.1 miles (Half-Marathon)
Participation Details
Timing for this event is optional. There are no timing chips used; instead, participants can track their own progress using various running applications or request assistance from on-site coordinators to record their times. Results can be submitted manually to be posted online alongside a certificate of completion.
Packet pickup is not required for this event. Shirts are shipped directly to the address provided during registration, typically arriving the week of the race. Race bibs are distributed on-site on the day of the event. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual run option is available, which includes a digital training pack and the ability to submit times remotely to receive a medal.
Swag and Support
