Sugar Run 5K, Germantown
The Sugar Run 5K is held at Wolf River Nature Area (East) in Germantown, Tennessee. The 2026 edition is the twentieth annual running of the event and is scheduled for November 7, 2026.

Proceeds support diabetes research and benefit Breakthrough T1D Fund a Cure. A fundraising goal of $40,000 is listed and the event reports current funds raised at zero dollars.
The race began in 2006 with 37 participants and $2,500 raised. Over the years the event has continued with local supporters and sponsors.
Race day operations include packet pickup, the 5K, a kids fun run, and an awards ceremony. Awards are given for overall placement and for age group categories. Listed award categories include top three male and female overall, masters and grand masters, and age groups from 9 and under through 70 plus.
