Sugar Run 5K
The Sugar Run 5K is the 20th annual five-kilometre road event held at the Wolf River Nature Area (East) in Germantown, Tennessee on November 7, 2026. The event program on race day includes packet pickup, a 5K, a kids fun run, pro races and an awards ceremony.
The event raises funds for diabetes research and supports Breakthrough T1D's Fund a Cure. Fundraising information on the event page shows a current amount raised of $107.35 toward a stated goal of $40,000. The event page also highlights encouragement of youth athletics as part of its mission.
Awards are presented for overall top three male and female finishers, top masters and grand masters, and top three in standard age-group categories from 9 & under through 70+.
