Event Details
The Sugar Maple Festival 5k Run/Walk takes place in Bellbrook, Ohio. The event starts and finishes at the St. Pierre Education Center on Upper Bellbrook Road, next to Bellbrook High School.
Registration and Fees
Registration is available online prior to the event. In-person registration is also available on race day. The fee for participants aged 15 and over is $10. The event is free for current members of the Ohio River Road Runners Club (ORRRC) and for participants aged 14 and under. Club members must show proof of membership on race day if not registered online. All participants must check in before the race and attach a provided timing chip to their shoe.
Course
The 5k course begins in front of the St. Pierre Education Center. It follows paved bike paths and neighborhood streets, finishing on the Miami Valley South Stadium track behind the Education Center.
Awards
Awards are given for first overall male and female finishers, as well as for first male and female in Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), and Senior (60+) categories. Additional age group awards are presented for categories from 10-14 up to 80 & up. The 9 and under category is non-competitive, with all finishers recognized.
