Event overview
The Sugar Maple Festival 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Bellbrook, Ohio. The event is presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club, a volunteer 501(c)(3) organization. The race distance is 5 km and the course begins in front of the St. Pierre Education Center and finishes on the Miami Valley South Stadium track behind the Education Center.
Logistics and format
The course follows paved bike paths and neighborhood streets. Parking is at the St. Pierre Education Center, next to Bellbrook High School. Pre-registration is handled through RunSignup; minors may be pre-registered by a parent or guardian and must have a signed liability waiver. Race day registration is available, with hard copy registration sheets also offered.
Current ORRRC members run for free. Non-members pay $10 for ages 15 and up; entry is free for ages 14 and under. The event does not include shirts or finisher medals. Finish times are chip-timed by volunteer timers. Participants receive refreshments and may be eligible for small age-group awards. Awards include first overall male and female, masters (over 40), grand masters (over 50), seniors (over 60), and standard age-group categories from 9 and under through 80 and up.
