ORRRC Gift Exchange 5k
The ORRRC Gift Exchange is a holiday-themed 5k road event presented by the Ohio River Road Runners Club. It takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Kettering Recreation Complex, 2900 Glengarry Drive, Kettering, OH 45420. The event features a post-race gift exchange: participants bring a wrapped gift valued around $10 and receive a gift during the exchange. Overall male and overall female finishers receive a special additional gift.
Entry, registration and event details
Pre-registration is handled through RunSignup; participants pick up their timing chip at the registration table on race day. The race emphasizes a low-key format: there are no shirts or finisher medals, but chip timing and refreshments are provided. The event is free for ORRRC members and for participants 14 and under; participants are asked to bring a wrapped gift to enter the exchange. Minors must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Organizers request that gifts not include alcoholic beverages or adult-only items because children may receive gifts during the exchange.
