Suffer on Centennial
Suffer on Centennial takes place in West Hawk Lake, Manitoba, within the Whiteshell region. The event features technical single-track trails across the Canadian Shield, offering a variety of distances for trail runners. The 100 km route is a point-to-point race, noted as the longest of its kind in the central Prairies. Both the 100 km and the 50 km distances utilize the Onishkatoon Gwaykaadiziwin trail around the east side of Falcon Lake.
Participants can choose from several event formats:
- 100 km individual point-to-point race.
- 100 km Relay available for teams of 3, 4, 5, or 6 people.
- 50 km point-to-point race.
- 25 km race consisting of two loops.
- 8 km race consisting of one loop.
The event provides fully stocked aid stations and food vouchers for the Trails End Restaurant for all runners. Registration includes a performance t-shirt. Finishing rewards vary by distance: trophies for the 100 km, medals for the 25 km, 50 km, and relay runners, and patches for the 8 km finishers. Cutoff times are established at 16 hours for the 50 km and 18 hours for the 100 km. Participants must note that a Manitoba Park Pass is required for vehicle entry to the site.
