Mantario Marathon
The Mantario Marathon is a challenging, self-supported 2-day trail event held in Whiteshell, Manitoba, along the Mantario Trail. Covering 64 km over rugged terrain, participants start at the Caddy Lake South trailhead, camp overnight at Moosehead Lake, and finish at the Big Whiteshell North trailhead. The course features boreal forest, Canadian Shield landscapes, numerous water crossings, and over 1500 meters of elevation gain and loss.
This "Fat Ass" event has no entry fee, aid stations, or official support; runners must carry all gear and supplies needed for the journey, including camping equipment.
