Sudbury July 4th Road Race
The event is an annual road race in Sudbury that uses a counterclockwise loop course starting and ending at Featherland Park. The race has been held as a Sudbury tradition since 1965.
All registration is handled online; there is no on-site registration on race day. Registration closes at 9 AM on July 3 or when the event’s insurance cap on total participants is reached. Volunteer registration is available for race day helpers and includes a required waiver.
Distances offered:
- 3.75 miles main race
- Little Kids Fun Run one lap, no fee
Trophies are awarded by age group: age 13 and under, 14 to 19, then by decade (20 to 29, 30 to 39, and so on). Trophies are given only to runners who are current Sudbury residents, grew up in Sudbury, or work for the town. T-shirts will be available to the first 250 runners who pick up their bibs on race day for the 3.75 mile race.
The Little Kids Fun Run is co-sponsored by the Sudbury Family Network. There is no fee for the fun run, but fun runners must be pre-registered and must complete an online waiver by 9 AM on July 3. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
