Event overview
Stuff the Sleigh 5K Run/Walk is a community event in Caledonia, Racine County, Wisconsin, held on December 20, 2025. The event is the 14th annual edition and supports local food shelters and Mooseheart, a residential childcare facility. The in-person distance is 5 km and a virtual Remote Runners option is offered; virtual participants receive a finisher medal, race bib, and T-shirt.
Location and course
The in-person race is based at Moose Lodge 437, 5530 Middle Road, Caledonia, WI 53402. The course is an out-and-back route along the Racine County Bike Path, beginning at the lodge. Packet pickup is available on race day only at the Moose Lodge.
Categories, awards and features
Categories include a timed competitive 5K, a recreational non-timed 5K, and a remote runner category. All finishers receive a finisher medal. Overall top three male and female finishers are recognized; top three male and female finishers are also recognized in 10-year age groups (beginning with 9 and under, then 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, etc.). Age-group top three finishers receive a recognition pin to attach to the medal lanyard. Overall winners cannot also win their age groups. A wheelchair division is listed, weather permitting. Event features include a commemorative medal, goody bag, timed results, a hot chocolate bar, and a post-race chili lunch. Donations of non-perishable food items are requested; commonly needed items include canned fruit, peanut butter, tuna, beef stew, instant potatoes, and fruit juice.
