South Shore Half Marathon - Milwaukee
This event is a half marathon. It takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the South Shore Pavilion in Milwaukee.
The course is an out-and-back route on a paved recreational path along the Lake Michigan shore, offering park and lake views. An early start option is available for participants who anticipate needing more than three hours to finish.
Participants receive a pair of "ugly gloves" as a distinctive feature of the event. There is a post-race party in the pavilion.
Registration fees are structured with early discounts for members of the Badgerland Striders (BLS). Payment on race day is by card only; cash is not accepted. Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top three in each age group. Runners using the early start are eligible for age group awards but not for the overall awards.
Packet pickup is available on the day of the race at the South Shore Pavilion. Early pickup is also available the day before at a designated running store in Brookfield. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
