Milwaukee Marathon and Half Marathon
The Milwaukee Marathon returns on April 11 and 12, 2026. This multi-day event takes place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and features courses that are USATF-certified and serve as Boston Marathon qualifiers. Participants run through various neighborhoods and past lakeside views, finishing at Humboldt Park.
The event consists of several distance options:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 5 km
- Virtual (various distances)
The Marathon and Half Marathon take place on Saturday, while the 5 km distance is held on Sunday. Registration includes professional timing, a finisher medal for every participant, and access to finish line photos. Participants also receive a runner's kit containing a race bib and wearables.
A post-race party is held at the finish area featuring local breweries. Participants aged 21 and over receive local craft beer as part of their entry. The event also offers group registration options and opportunities to support charitable organizations. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual category allows runners to complete their distance remotely while still receiving the commemorative race swag and medal.
