Stronger Together 5K - Granbury
The Stronger Together 5K and 1K is a community-focused athletic event held in Granbury, Texas. Hosted at the United Way of Hood County, this gathering serves as a platform for mental health awareness and community connection. The event is organized to support the Stronger Together Because You Matter Foundation, which provides resources and hope for individuals facing personal struggles.
The event offers several participation options:
- 5K: A professionally managed running race.
- 1K: A complimentary walk specifically for children aged 12 and under.
- Virtual Supporter: A 5K option for those who wish to participate remotely.
The race environment includes an opening ceremony and a formal awards presentation. Participants can access various on-site amenities and activities, including live music, food trucks, community vendors, and specific activities designed for children. Prayer stations are also available on the grounds.
Medals are awarded to the top male and female finishers in the 5K, as well as the top male and female in the Master's category. Additionally, the 5K includes age division awards ranging from age 6 to over 70. All participants in the kids' event receive award ribbons upon finishing. Participants who register by August 31, 2026, are guaranteed a race t-shirt. For the safety and comfort of all attendees, pets are not permitted at the event.
