ICE AGE 5K Run, Walk or Stroll in Granbury, Texas
The ICE AGE 5K Run, Walk or Stroll takes place on January 16, 2027 at Hewlett Park, 650 West Pearl Street, Granbury, Texas. The course is an out and back that begins and ends at Hewlett Park and uses the paved Hike and Bike Trail system.
The event includes several 5K options: a chip timed competitive 5K for ages 13 to 64, a chip timed seniors 5K for ages 65 and up, a non chip timed fun run open to all ages and abilities, and a free entry option for children aged 5 and under when accompanied by an adult. Registration opened February 9, 2026 and most categories close December 21, 2026; the children 5 and under category remains open through January 16, 2027. Posted fees include $45 for the 13 to 64 category and $35 for senior and fun run entries.
Timed events award first place only for male and female in age categories 13-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, and 65 and over. Finisher medals and race shirts are provided for participants aged 6 and up. Pets are not allowed in the event in accordance with the USATF sanctioned event policy.
