The ICE AGE 5K - Granbury, TX
The ICE AGE 5K takes place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Granbury, Texas. The race starts and finishes at Hewlett Park, 650 West Pearl Street, and uses the paved hike and bike trail system on an out-and-back course. There are chip-timed and non-timed options, and a post-race activity at City Beach Park called the Goosebump Jump, a cold-water plunge into Lake Granbury held as a separate event.
Race format and details
- 5K - Age 13-64 (chip timed)
- 5K Seniors Age 65 and up (chip timed)
- 5K - FUN RUN, ages 6-99 (non-chip timed)
- 5K - Age 5 and under, free with accompanying paying adult
Timed events award first place only, male and female, in age groups: 13-17; 18-24; 25-34; 35-44; 45-54; 55-64; 65 and over. Finisher medals and race shirts are provided for participants aged 6 and up. Pets are not allowed under the event policy. Registration fees vary by event and may increase after December 21, 2025.
