Event Overview
The Mammoth Ice Age 5K Run is a 5-kilometer event taking place in January in Granbury, Texas. The event is held in Hewlett Park at 650 West Pearl Street. The course is an out-and-back route on a paved hike and bike trail.
Event Format
Participants can choose between chip-timed and non-timed options. The event has multiple registration categories:
- 5K - Age 13 - 64: A chip-timed event.
- 5K Seniors Age 65 and up: A chip-timed event with discounted pricing.
- 5K - FUN RUN. ALL AGES, ALL ABILITIES: A non-chip-timed event.
- 5K - Age 5y and Under: A free event for children when accompanied by a paying adult.
Awards are given for the chip-timed events, with first-place awards for male and female participants in specific age categories. Finisher medals and race shirts are provided for participants aged 6 and up. The event is USATF sanctioned, and pets are not allowed.
