Camp Classic Trail Run
The Camp Classic Trail Run is a trail running event at Camp El Tesoro in Granbury on March 6-7, 2026. The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Kids 1K Fun Run (age 12 or younger)
The event includes on-site amenities such as free parking with attendants, climate-controlled group-style cabin lodging, and a chef-prepared Friday night gourmet dinner as weekend upgrades. Cabin lodging includes private restrooms and a light breakfast on race morning.
Race details
The 5K is one full loop of the course; the 10K is two laps of the same loop. Mile markers and course signage will be posted, and a water station is located at approximately 1.7 miles (passed once by 5K runners and twice by 10K runners). The trails do not accommodate strollers. Trained responders from a local volunteer fire department will provide first aid at the finish area.
Registration fees (pre-race / event day walk-up): 5K $30 / $40, 10K $40 / $50, Kids 1K free / $15. Event upgrades (pre-race): gourmet dinner $30, cabin overnight lodging $30. Race packets include a bib with a timing chip; the event is chip timed and results are available shortly after crossing the finish line. The event is rain or shine; registration fees are non-refundable and support the Camp Fire Camp Scholarship Fund. Race shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by February 14.
