Strides for Inclusion 5K Run-Walk-Roll presented by Pathways to Opportunity
Pathways to Opportunity operates a life skills development program serving individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, schizophrenia, polio, and other diagnosed or undiagnosed disabilities. The event supports the program's mission to foster personal growth, independence, and community integration.
Event distances:
- 3.1 Miles timed 5K Run/Walk
- Untimed 1 Mile Run Walk Roll
Awards are offered overall for men and women and for 1st through 3rd place in the following age groups: 0-9, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Shirt availability is guaranteed for registrations completed by May 6; shirts are not guaranteed after that date.
Registration opens February 11 and closes February 28. Published fees are $25.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the untimed 1 Mile. Age based pricing sets registration for participants 18 years old and under at $15.00. Local running club discounts are available.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet Ft Myers in Ft Myers, FL. Race day packet pickup and registration take place at Founders Square, Babcock Ranch, Punta Gorda, FL. Chip timing is provided by Beach Bum Timing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
