Overview
StRides Against Suicide & Overdose is a multi-sport charity event held at Rogers-Lakewood Park in Valparaiso, Indiana. The event focuses on raising awareness and providing financial support for mental health and substance abuse treatment. All registration fees and donations are directed toward providing scholarships for uninsured individuals or those who cannot afford treatment in Northwest Indiana.
The event offers several participation options for runners, walkers, and cyclists:

- 5K Walk
- 5K Run
- 10 Mile Family Bike Ride
- 40 Mile Bike Ride
- 60 Mile Bike Ride
- 100 Mile Bike Ride
- Virtual 5K Walk/Run
- Virtual Bike Ride Any Distance
The 5K run is a timed event with results provided. Participants receive a t-shirt, lunch, and access to live music. Registered attendees are also eligible for raffle drawings throughout the day. The bike routes cover various distances to accommodate different experience levels, from a shorter family ride to a full century ride.
