The Streetlight 5K & Frolic takes place on July 11, 2026 in Concord, NC. The event base is listed at Cabarrus County Courthouse, 61 Union Street South, Concord, NC 28025. The race program includes the following distances:

Registration details: the 5K has an entry fee of $20 and the Fun Run is free. Registration opens February 1, 2026. Registrations submitted by June 19 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Race day registration increases the price by $10 and is card only; on-site registration is handled via a QR code at The Lenz Studio (70 Union St S, Concord).
Course, logistics and awards
The 5K route follows Union Street South to Oakland Avenue, circles R Brown Elementary School, returns on Union Street and finishes downtown. The 5K is certified (NC25013DF). Packet pick up is available at The Lenz Studio on Thursday, July 9 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm; on race day pick up begins at 5:45 pm. A separate Frolic event will be held downtown; specific details are to be announced. The Downtown Concord Social District is noted as participating with local businesses. Speed for Need will provide customized racing wheelchairs and a runner to assist participants with special needs; reservations are available. Awards will be given to the overall top three male and female and to the top three male and female in age groups from 10 & under through 75 and over.
