Street2Feet Mindfulness Triathlon
The Street2Feet Mindfulness Triathlon is a community wellness event in San Antonio at the open lawn directly across Full Goods Diner (200 E Grayson, San Antonio, TX 78215). The event highlights three movement modalities used in the Street2Feet program: a 1 mile walk/run, a trauma conscious, all-levels yoga flow (beginner friendly), and qigong meditation. A silent disco warm-up and a silent disco session are included. The 1 mile walk/run is not a timed event.
Registration is donation based and the donation serves as registration. Presented donation options and intended uses include: $15 to provide five nutritious meals for Saturday breakfast programming that supports healthy habits; $25 to supply athletic apparel (two pairs of men's shorts or two sports bras); and $35 to support goal achievement by enabling participants to earn a grocery gift card. There is also a $5 Flash Friday option listed as a 1 mile, not timed entry.
Participants are asked to bring their own mat for the outdoor lawn setting. Proceeds support the program vision of promoting movement, community, and service so that vulnerable neighbors can improve quality of life through engagement in these activities.
