The Strawberry Chase is scheduled for May 9, 2026 in Downtown Dayton, Tennessee. The course is described as flat and fast and both begins and ends at the Rhea County Community Center (Rc3). Timing is provided by a professional timing company.

Registration opens February 17, 2026 and closes April 17, 2026. Published entry fees are 5K $35 (after April 17 $40), 10K $40 (after April 17 $45), and 1 mile $20 (after April 17 $25). Packet pick-up is scheduled the evening before the event and there is day of packet pick-up and registration. The event is held rain or shine and refunds are not offered.
Awards and services include finisher medals for the 5K and 10K, ribbons for one-milers, and awards to top overall finishers and age group winners. Separate awards are listed for Masters (50+) and Grand Masters (60+). Additional recognitions and prizes include strawberries, a three month membership to Rc3, and other gift certificates. Participants receive shirts for the running events and refreshments are provided. Strollers and dogs are permitted and will start at the back of the pack.
