The Dog Days of Summer Trail Race is a running event held on August 15-16, 2026, in Grandview, Tennessee. It benefits the Flying Pigs Animal Sanctuary, with all race proceeds going to help animals in rural Tennessee.

- Hot Dog, Night Howl, Pampered Pooch COMBO!!! - A combination event
The course consists of short loops, described as approximately 1-mile or 3-mile in length. Each loop starts and ends at a central aid station. The location is described as rural, hilly, and approximately one hour from the Barkley Marathons area. The event takes place during summer heat and humidity.
On-Site Experience
Tent camping is available for free. For a more comfortable stay, glamping sites at the nearby Lemon Lane Farm are available through a silent auction, with all proceeds also benefiting the Flying Pigs Sanctuary. The aid station provides water, electrolytes, and snacks like watermelon. The event has a community-focused atmosphere and may feature animals from the sanctuary.
