Hog Jog 2026
Hog Jog is an annual charity run held during the Ontario Pork Congress in Stratford, Ontario, at the Stratford Rotary Complex, 353 McCarthy Road. The event includes multiple race categories and a post-race pork meal included with registration. The Hog Jog began in 2005 and is organized as part of OPIC’s Pork for a Cause.
Distances offered:
- Weaner Run
- 3.5 km run/walk
- 10 km run
On-site registration is accepted on race day and the registration price is CA$10 higher on race day. An awards ceremony follows the races.
The 2026 Hog Jog supports The Emily Murphy Centre, a Stratford organization that provides safe housing, counselling, advocacy, and outreach for women and children who have experienced violence. Funds raised in 2026 will directly support the installation of five donated tiny homes and cover essential infrastructure costs such as utility connections so the homes can become usable living spaces. Proceeds are intended to expand housing capacity and maintain holistic supports including counselling and links to community resources.
The event page lists CA$10,796.90 raised and 145 participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
