Event Overview
The Storm Warriors Boardwalk 5k Run/Walk takes place in Ocean City, Maryland. The course is an out-and-back route on the Ocean City Boardwalk. The event is held annually to support the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum, with participation helping to preserve the cultural and natural history of the area.
Race Details
The event features a single 5k distance for both running and walking. It will be held rain or shine. Awards are presented after the race. Day-of registration and packet pickup are available.
Course & Location
The run/walk occurs on the Ocean City Boardwalk, starting and finishing near the Ocean City Lifesaving Museum at 813 S. Atlantic Avenue. Free parking is available for participants in the inlet parking lot.
Awards
Awards are given for:
- 1st place overall male and female.
- 1st and 2nd place in standard age groups from 14 and under to 70+.
Participant Restrictions
For safety, bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, and pets are not permitted on the course. Baby joggers are allowed only on the 5k course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
