Storm Warriors Boardwalk 5k Run/Walk
The Storm Warriors Boardwalk 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Ocean City, Maryland. The event takes place at the Ocean City Lifesaving Museum, 813 S. Course, awards and rules
The course is an out-and-back on the Ocean City Boardwalk and accommodates both runners and walkers. Day-of registration and pre-registration packet pickup will be available. The event is planned to run rain or shine. Parking is available to participants in the inlet parking lot at no charge.
Awards include 1st place overall for male and female finishers, plus 1st and 2nd place age-group awards in the following groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Restrictions on the boardwalk during the race prohibit bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, and pets. Baby joggers are permitted only on the 5K course. Participants who violate these rules will be removed from the course.
Purpose
The event supports the Ocean City Lifesaving Station Museum. Proceeds help the Ocean City Museum Society with interpretation and preservation of the cultural and natural history of Ocean City and the 1891 lifesaving station structure.
