Horseshoe Crab Hustle : 4th edition
The Horseshoe Crab Hustle is a community event on 11/15/2026 at Bethany Brewing Company in Ocean View, Delaware. The course begins and ends at Bethany Brewing Company and primarily follows trails in Fresh Pond State Park. Proceeds benefit the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays, which will have information tables about its projects and programs.
Event options
- 10K run
- 1.5 mile walk (non-competitive, no awards)
Timing for the 10K will be conducted using the Chronotrack B Chip system. Awards for the 10K include Overall Male and Female champions, Overall Male and Female Masters (40+), and top three finishers in these 10 year age groups: 13U, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. The walk is a fun, non-competitive event and has no prizes.
Registration opens 8/18/2026. Fee structure in effect for the event:
- 10K run: $40 early through 11/8/2026, $45 pre 11/9–11/14/2026, $50 race day.
- 1.5 mile walk: $25 pre through 11/14/2026, $30 race day.
Packet pickup is available at Bethany Brewing Company on the day before the event and on race morning. T-shirt guarantee applies to registrations received by November 9. The event is produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. Refunds are not issued; options include transfer to another Seashore Strider event, donation to the beneficiary charity, or deferment to the following year.
