Storm the Farm - Winona, MN
Storm the Farm takes place on July 18, 2026 at Briggs Outdoors in Winona, Minnesota. The event is part of the Storm Trail Race Series and is held on private land within the bluffs of the Driftless Region.

The course uses steep bluff climbs, expansive prairies, shaded single-track, and valley sections. A 10k-plus loop includes two major bluff climbs, a scenic valley, and a crossing of Cedar Creek; multiple laps of this loop create the 21k, 30k, and 43k distances. The 5k course includes one major bluff climb and faster double-track and single-track valley sections.
Aid stations are located on the loops: the 5k passes one aid station twice, and the 10k loop has three aid stations with one station available to longer-distance runners before additional laps. Stations provide snacks, water, Gu, and orange-flavored Tailwind. The event is cupless; participants should carry a reusable cup, bottle, or hydration gear. Collapsible silicone cups are available for purchase at check in.
The event is ATRA Youth Trail Race Certified and offers a 15 percent discount for participants under 19. There are no course cutoffs and pre-registration is required; race-day registration is not available. Friday night camping is offered for a fee; tents and small teardrop campers are allowed with no hook-ups on a first-come, first-served basis. Race shirts are available for purchase during registration for a fee; orders have an advance cutoff date and cannot be exchanged on race day. Thirty percent of each registration fee and all registration donations are donated to Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center for youth mental health programs.
