Storm the Farm
Storm the Farm is a trail race at Briggs Outdoors near Winona, MN, held July 17 and 18, 2027. It is part of the Storm Trail Race Series and is ATRA Youth Trail Race Certified; participants under 19 receive a 15% discount.

The course uses a 10k-plus loop that includes two bluff climbs, a scenic valley, and a crossing of Cedar Creek. Multiple laps of that loop create the 21k, 30k, and 43k distances. The creek crossing occurs in the final 1.5 miles and commonly results in wet feet or ankles. The 5k route features one major bluff climb and a mix of faster double-track and shaded single-track valleys. Trails travel through expansive prairies and the bluffs of Southeast Minnesota's Driftless Region.
Event operations include multiple aid stations stocked with snacks, water, and orange-flavored Tailwind; an accessible drop bag area near the start and finish; and a cupless policy requiring reusable cups or personal hydration gear. Friday night camping is available for a fee with tent and small teardrop camper space and no hook-ups. Race shirts are available for purchase for $20 with an order cutoff of June 28, 2027; sizes are offered in Men’s and Women’s fits and cannot be exchanged on race day. Thirty percent of each registration fee and all registration donations are directed to Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center for youth mental health programs.
