Storm the Castle 5K Walk/Run
Storm the Castle is a community 5K event held in November 2026 in Peoria, Illinois. The event includes a 5K run, a walk-only option, and a shirt-only registration. Entry fees listed are $25 for the run and walk options and $20 for the shirt-only option. Registrations are open to ages 1 to 100. Chip timing and online registration are available.
Location, course and beneficiaries
The event is based at Richwoods High School, 6301 N University, Peoria, IL 61614, with the course beginning and finishing at the school soccer field known as The Castle. Proceeds support the Richwoods High School soccer program and field improvement projects. Recent facility upgrades noted for the field include leveling and crowning, a watering system, new grass, team shelters, lighting training walls, stairs and a new concessions building. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before in the Richwoods High School cafeteria and on race day at the school cafeteria by the back entrance near the practice football field.
