Storm the Castle 5K Walk/Run takes place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Peoria, IL at Richwoods High School (6301 N University). The event is the 14th annual running and offers chip timing and online registration. Proceeds benefit the Richwoods High School Soccer Program and field improvement projects.

Registration notes: the 5K price increases after October 29, 2025. Walk registration closes November 9, 2025. Shirt registration closes October 29, 2025. Entry is open to ages 1 to 100.
Course and logistics
The 5K walk/run begins and finishes at The Castle, the school soccer field. Recent field upgrades include leveling and crowning, an installed watering system, new grass, team shelters, lighting, training walls, stairs, and a new concessions building. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 14 between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm and on race day between 7:00 am and 8:30 am in the Richwoods High School cafeteria; use the back entrance by the practice football field.
