Storm the Castle 5K Walk/Run, Peoria IL
The Storm the Castle 5K Walk/Run is the 14th annual edition held in November 2026 at Richwoods High School in Peoria, Illinois. The event includes a timed 5K walk/run, a walk only option, and a shirt only option. Chip timing and online registration are available.
The course begins and finishes at The Castle, the Richwoods soccer field. Organizers report recent field improvements that affect the finish area: the pitch has been leveled and crowned, a watering system was installed, new grass was planted, and additions include team shelters, lighting training walls, stairs, and a concessions building. Proceeds support the Richwoods High School soccer program and field improvement projects.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event in the Richwoods High School cafeteria and again on race day at the back entrance by the practice football field.
