Run the Bluff

Run the Bluff is a community running event held at the East Bluff Community Center in Peoria, Illinois. The event offers a chip timed 5K Run and an untimed 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and the course passes through the East Bluff neighborhood. The start and finish are at the East Bluff Community Center.

The event is a fundraiser for the East Bluff Community Center. The center provides neighborhood services including youth activities, a food pantry, and community building events. Timing and scoring for the event are provided by ShaZam Racing.

Participants may register in standard and student categories, and there is a registration option to support the cause without running or walking. Race shirts are mentioned as no longer guaranteed for later registrations. Packet pickup is available at the East Bluff Community Center on race day.

An awards program follows the timed race. Overall awards are given to the top male and top female based on gun time. Age group awards for the top male and female are listed for 18 and under, 19 to 39, 40 to 59, and 60 and over.
