Run the Bluff
Run the Bluff is a chip-timed community race held on October 31, 2026, at the East Bluff Community Center in Peoria, Illinois. The course starts and finishes at the community center and routes runners through the East Bluff neighborhood.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
The race functions as a fundraiser for the East Bluff Community Center. The center provides neighborhood services including youth activities, a food pantry, and community-building events. Timing and scoring are provided by ShaZam Racing.
Packet pickup is available at the East Bluff Community Center on race day. The event schedule includes an award ceremony with overall awards for the top male and top female and age group awards in the categories 18 and under, 19 to 39, 40 to 59, and 60 and over. A pancake breakfast follows the race.
Registration options include standard and student pricing and an option to support the cause without participating. Race shirts are offered but are not guaranteed for registrations after early October. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
